School History
♥ Founded on September 1, 1963. ( Named the Ninth High School) and the number of classes was 18.
♥ The first school building was completed on April, 1964 and Du Wancai was the first principal.
♥ 754 students first graduated from Ninth High School in June, 1966.
♥ The school was restructured into Sanmin Junior High School on August 1, 1968. The number of classes
was 62, with Including more than 3,160 students.
♥ 1135 students first graduated from Sanmin Junior High School in June, 1971.
♥ In 1980, the school soccer team won the National Zhongzheng Cup Football Championship. In August, it
also won the 16-year-old level first prize of the International Football Championship in New York State,
USA. In the same year, the Ministry of Education approved the school as a key school for promoting soccer.
♥ The Ministry of Education approved the school as a key school for promoting swimming in 1983 and then
for promoting badminton in 1985.
♥ Students had been participating in various competitions and received good results such as abacus
competitions、Mandarin contests、English short drama performance competitions、music choir
competitions and so on.
♥ The multifunctional activity center named "Truth Building" was completed in April, 2000.
♥ The new school gate in Jilin Street was completed and opened in January, 2001.
♥ The rebuilt school building named "Goodness Building" was completed in April, 2002.
♥ The rebuilt school building named "Beauty Building" was completed in April, 2006.
♥ The Art Class was set up and recruited students in Kaohsiung city in August, 2012.
♥ Campus area : 3.1152 hectares
